There have been plenty of times where I’ve tasted something in a tasting room and thought it was great, but gotten it home and not enjoyed it nearly as much. Same thing with wines enjoyed with good company!

I think most of us got our start with some kind of Riesling–it was so cheap and so sweet! It also went great with leftover Chinese food heated up in the microwave, which was something we ate a lot of in college.
